Bon Jovi & Roger Waters For Live Earth

Bon Jovi and Roger Waters have been named as the headliners of Live Earth India.
The huge concert takes place on 7 December in Mumbai and features Bon Jovi, Roger Waters and a host of homegrown superstars that will
Live Earth India will reach millions of viewers worldwide on three of STAR’s highly popular channels across Asia, while online music fans will be able to experience the show on MSN at www.msnindia.com/liveearth.
The concert will feature never-before-seen collaborations of western and Indian artists, a variety of musical genres from India hip-hop to American rock. Appearances and messages from former U.S Vice President Al Gore, IPCC Chairman and Director General of TERI India Dr. Rajendra K Pachauri, environmental advocates and celebrities are expected as well.
Funds raised by the event will go to Light a Billion Lives campaign and Climate Project India. The Light a Billion Lives campaign is aimed at brightening lives across the world by providing 200 million solar lanterns to rural households currently without electricity. Live Earth India will also support Climate Project India’s educational programs and advocacy for renewable energy solutions in India
