Schenker Group Reissues Due

17th November 2008

The Michael Schenker Group’s first three albums are to be remastered and reissued.

Michael Schenker Group, MSG and One Night In Budokan will be reissued on 19 January with a ream of bonus tracks and new liner notes by Dave Ling.

The band’s debut album, Michael Schenker Group, was produced by Deep Purple’s Roger Glover and the reissue is packaged with eight bonus tracks – five of which are previously unreleased.

MSG features the great Cosy Powell on drums and UFO’s Paul Raymond, and as with the debut reissue, this re-release is packed with bonus tracks – seven unreleased live tracks from a concert at Manchester Apollo from 1980.

Tried to buy them at the shop. The first album didn't turn up, the second one got drunk and wanted to fight the UFO album and the live one got half way through, went out of tune and packed up!!!
