Pearl Jam Ready New Record

6th May 2008

Pearl Jam are under way with the recording of their new album, and hope to have it ready this year.

The band have reunited with Brendan O’Brien, who is currently putting finishing touches on the new AC/DC record. O’Brien and Pearl Jam previously worked together on four albums between 1993 & 1998 (Vs, Vitology, No Code and Yield).

Speaking to Billboard Magazine, guitarist Mike McCready said that they currently have 4 or 5 tracks ready to go, and hope to have the album out in 2008. It will be their first since 2006’s self-titled effort.
